Gee for Gerry
Age: 8

He is a human character who was raised by his mother and father in a small town in the empire state of New York.
As a child, he was obese until high school and was often teased about his name and being overweight. Then he made an executive decision to lose weight. The children didn’t tease him about his weight anymore, but he was still the brunt of jokes about his name.
He is very intelligent and analytical. He continued to exercise several days a week even when he moved to New York City. He is medium built with black hair. When Gee comes to Rice Tales, he helps other children learn to get along when they are different.
Darrell
Age: 8

Darrell is a little boy who is 8 yrs old. He has a mother and father and no sisters or brothers. He is smart and very quiet. He has been wearing eyes glasses since he was a young child. Without them, he can’t see much. He is one of the children being bullied by some of the children in the Land of Rice Tales.
Honey Bee, The Human
Age: 9

Honey Bee likes to read all the time. She also is very athletic. She constantly wins in games that the children play in school. She is a loner because she feels different from the other children. Honey has blond hair and blue eyes.
Rattie, The Raccoon
Age: 8

He is raised by a single parent. His father died a long time ago when he was a baby. He looks very happy all the time, but that is a façade. He can be very gossipy and a teaser. He definitely is a follower and can be very sneaky at times. He wants to be liked by his friends.
Chiquita, The Mouse
Age: 9

She is chubby and a bully. She has cropped jet-black hair. She only wears is cut so she can look mean to the other children. She has a hard time in school getting along with others. She struggles with her academics because her parents don’t speak English well and cannot help her.
Georgie, The Kangaroo
Age: 9

He is a twin. He is very quiet and withdrawn. He is a thinker but does not know how to communicate with others. He wants to be included in group activities but feels awkward. He can be thoughtful but is waiting for someone to discover that he is a nice person. He is very smart and soft-spoken at times. He likes to eat healthily, but won’t exercise.
Georgia, The Kangaroo
Age: 9

She is the twin sister of Georgie. Her brother is very protective even though she is the oldest. She is upset about being treated as a little sister and feels as though he wants to baby her. As a result, she pushes her brother around and tries to bully the children at school. She is of average intelligence. She is very loud and constantly interrupts conversations. She never lets Georgie finish a sentence so people think he can’t talk. She sneaks and eats the wrong food. She loves to run and play games.
Brian, the Rabbit

He is so cute and furry with big brown eyes. He is constantly talking in class and in the playground at recess. He has so much to say. He is an only child and has no one to talk to except his parents. The kids tease him at school and call him chatterbox.

He is very sad most of the time and is always eating. He wants to run and play with the other children, but he is too fat. He fears that the other children in school will tease him about his weight, but his friends won’t let them. He really thinks no one likes him and that is why he is always eating. He eats to make him feel good.
Squig Lee, the Squirrel

He is the littlest of the characters. He is very intelligent. He always wants to be the leader when playing games at recess even though he is not that good. He wants to be liked by the other children. He always knows the answers in class and makes the other children feel sad.
Earla, The Owl

Dimension: Rest
She is a busy body and a night owl. She is always in somebody’s business. She is really a boring child and never has anything interesting to say. So she focuses on others. This causes trouble with the other children. She lacks tact and is constantly hurting other children’s feelings. She doesn’t do it on purpose. She never sleeps so she sleeps in class at school. She is grey and white with large eyes.
